history;
Every person has a beginning. For Blake, that was 16 years ago on the 30th of November. Born to Alexander and Alicia Wolfe, she was their only daughter. She was the secound child, having only one older brother, Bryce. The Wolfe family had lived in Maine for many generations, Heron Cove to be exact. They were a well off family, but Alex and Alicia always made sure to keep their children in check and down to earth.
Blake’s childhood was rather uneventful. She grew close to her brother, who naturally took on the whole ‘over protective’ feeling over her. They became the best of friends, although they still get into little rumbles every now and then. She was a rather shy child, so she didn’t have many friends. Because of that, she spent a lot of time with Bryce, so growing up she was more of a tomboy than anything else. She would play the games, compete in the sports; anything to impress her brother and to give her the opportunity to hang out with him. This relationship with her brother had its bad side effects, as most of the boys in the neighborhood soon came to see her as ‘one of the guys’. And when you are a teenage girl, being one of the guys isn’t always the best thing to be.
But Blake took on her role, and embraced it the best she could. She still remains close to a lot of the boys, although her brother is sure to remind them who she is. “Mess with her, and you mess with me.” As if life wasn’t embarrassing enough. Once she hit high school, her shy nature didn’t change, although she did open up and make more friends. Her style of clothes changed, turning less boyish; but she still has yet to cross over to ‘girly girl’. Dresses are only for very, very special occasions. Now she’s going into junior year now at Ivory Falls Academy, and is excited to see what the school year brings.

When most people hear the name Blake, they think boy. In this case, that is entirely untrue. Although when Blake was younger, that could be said of her wardrobe. She has since aged and matured into a more ’girl’ version of herself, although she still likes to kick back and wear comfy clothes. Jeans, graphic tees, hoodies on the colder days; Her closet is simple, but suits her well.
She is not a fan of dresses though, or skirts really, and she will only wear them if it is a very special occasion -- or if her mother forces her to. Jewelry is mostly a non-option, except for one item. It is a small heart hanging on a silver chain, which she wears everyday. It was a gift to her from her mother when she was a little girl.
description;
When it comes to describing Blake, it can only seem simple. When you first meet her she’s the quiet, shy girl who doesn’t seem outgoing at all. But then after she gets to know you, she is the fun and playful girl that you can’t wait to hang out with. Though she is brave enough to initiate conversation with you, she won’t start really ‘talking’ until she knows you better. Think of it as her ‘feeling you out’, testing to see if you two will get along.
But when it comes to friends, she is the best friend you could ever have. She will be the friend who’s there to eat ice cream with when you get dumped, the one to dance like a fool just to make you laugh. She’d jump into the ocean in the winter, just to see your reaction. The friend to go and run through the streets, if only for the adrenaline rush. The friend who will fight for you, even if she is only 5’ 2” and isn‘t much of a fighter. Blake is really one of the sweetest people you will ever meet.
Betrayal is the worst idea to her and is easily hurt because she can be too trusting at times. Of course after wallowing around a bit she will be out trying to recover some of what she lost and looking for the silver lining of the situation. Optimism is a lifestyle to her. She tries to be nice to everyone she meets, even if they don’t deserve it. Her warm approach isn‘t always returned, but she knows that she at least tried to be kind at first.
Love for this girl is there, just not the kind she dreams about. Blake is the girl who loves to read and watch her romance stories and often wishes she could find that one true love. But when it comes to actually getting out there, she can have some self esteem issues. She is the ’cute’ one. Never the ’hot’ one, or the most desirable one. She’s more friend than anything else to most of the guys she knows. Her trusting, optimistic nature helps her through it, but sometimes she just wishes she was the one guys wanted.
roleplaying sample;
A heavy sigh echoed through the empty corridors. Once again it was dark, once again she was alone. What a way to spend eternity. If there were any perks to being undead, this was not one of them. Sure she'd always have her coven and her best friend but sometimes that just wasn't enough to dispel the darkness shrouding the vampire's life. She yearned for more, she yearned for someone.
Kicking at the ground, Rose continued her random stroll about the hallways. Surprisingly there were no first years sneaking around, no late lovers hurrying back to their dorms. It was quiet. The moon shone through the windows, casting shadows on the knights and frames.
Scrunching up her nose in a displeased fashion, she leaned up against the wood paneled wall. How much longer could she stand this? The evening feedings were always fun, but she couldn't feed endlessly, it'd give her a mental breakdown. And being alone like this was just tiresome.
As she went to stand up, she pushed against the wall. The wood paneling the was pressing on suddenly pulled back and slid to the side. Stumbling on the edge of where the wall was removed, the Ravenclaw girl fell back and landed hard on a slide of sorts that began propelling herself downwards. The soft light of the hole started getting smaller as she slid farther down the chute. Her hands scrabbled at the edges, trying to stop her descent.
The path beneath her leveled out eventually and she skidded to a stop. Her eyes flashed angrily, peering around in the dim light. It was a large round room with torches flickering faintly around the perimeter. One look at the slide that had brought her here told the vampire it was too steep for even her to try to climb up on.
"Great. I'm stuck in a stupid underground secret room in the middle of the night. How could things get any worse?"
